The popular music festival Coachella kicked off last week in the desert of California and as usual, young celebs dressed down (for once) to enjoy a couple of wild days in some very hot conditions. Take some inspiration from these bohemian styles when planning your summer wardrobe!

Bestest with your blog?
My blog is a summarise of my day to day life in photos, instead of writing a diary I take photos of my friends, adventures and clothing.
Describe your blog with 3 words?
Photo. Diary. Style
Who is Lovisa?
I am a 19-year-old Swede currently living in London. I love photography and beautiful clothes. I don’t do trends, I simply find clothes that I love.
Other blogs you enjoy?
Who inspires you and why?
I love 60s and 70s girls, like Edie Sedgwick! Moreover, I actually Google ‘Rolling Stones girlfriends’ from the 70s to get inspiration!
If you could go back in time, where would you go?
In between the 60s and 70s, and ideally I would had been 18 years old in 1969, which would also meant that as a little girl I had worn beautiful 50s clothing!
Best vintage/second hand item ever bought?
Tricky question, I have bought so many things that I adore. For example a knitted long dress from the charity store Myrorna in Stockholm and latest me and my flatmate bought a dress together; the ultimate 60s dream, a flower patterned orange and purple dress with high collar.
London or Paris, Stockholm?
I would say London for being young, Paris as my constant travel dream destination, and Stockholm to grow old in, after all it is my home town!
Orange or black?
Lace or floral?
Spice Girls or The Beatles?
60s or 70s?
That’s a really hard question, but if I had to choose I would say the very end of the 60s.
Brigitte Bardot eller Twiggy?
80s or 90s?
Bags or shoes?
Vintage or High street?
Do you want to be our next Blogger of the Month? Send us a link yo your blog and a short motivation!
A little bit ridiculous – the complete opposite to minimal. I like bold colours and prints, and simply stuff that makes you stand out of the crowd! I love retro fashion, like big 50s polka dot dresses with petticoats – again, anything a bit ridiculous!
Tell us about your blog Halt! Couture Blog?
My blog is an honest and down-to-earth fashion blog. I try not to be posey or just talk about the things I’ve bought – I like to open up discussions about styles and trends, and through Halt! Couture I try to do just that! I’ve also just started a YouTube channel where I debate fashion issues too.
Where do you buy your clothes?
Mostly on the high street – Primark and H&M are my faves – with a few charity shop bits and bobs thrown in.
What inspires you when you buy clothes?
I love finding stuff that stands out and has that little bit extra. When I’m out shopping I try to find something different – that thing that I just can’t wait to wear!
Your worst buy ever?
Well, more or less every pair of jeans I’ve ever bought. I just can’t do most jeans, especially not cheap ones from Primark and Topshop as they never fit me properly.
Best vintage buy?
A little red vintage clutch bag which I bought from a charity shop in Essex for £2 – I’ve had it for years.
Best tip for people buying vintage in London?
Firstly, don’t go to the obvious places as they tend to be pricey. My favourite vintage shop is CMD on Holloway Road, it is a huge vintage shop and its really cheap! Look in charity shops too.
What outfit would you wear for the rest of your life?
I love Vivien of Holloway and I am obsessed with their circle dresses, so it’d have to be one of those. Her dresses gives me a nice shape and make me feel good!
Favourite fashion capital?
London all the way! You can’t beat the shops here. When you compare somewhere like Paris with London, I feel that there’s just one kind of style of dress, so you’re more likely to get a weird look if you wear something ridiculous in Paris! Whereas in London anything goes.
50s or 80s?
Ohh, they are both my favourite eras! I can’t choose!
Orange or red?
Gwen Stefani, I want to be her!
Spring or summer?
Summer Summer Summer!
Heels or flats?
Coffee or tea?
Paris or Berlin?
